Thanks, that makes sense! So my planned workflow after I capture all the tapes (without the ES10) is as follows:
1. Cut lossless full tapes into lossless scenes
2. Convert lossless scenes into compressed copies for distribution using Yadif 2x, making sure to use correct field order
I know you mentioned that the video has problems, and I've seen in other posts that Handbrake is not the best tool for creating the distribution copy. Anyone have any suggestions? I've been playing around with
avidemux but I don't see Yadif 2x in the filter list, only Yadif. I'll also keep doing some searching because I'm sure this information is buried in this forum somewhere.
