How to connect TBC to Tevion card?
 

Ok. If someone can explain to me (as simply as possible) how to set up my workflow, I would appreciate it. I have a S-VHS VCR which I have connected via s-video cable to the TBC. I'm assuming that is correct so far. Then I downloaded the Tevion drivers on the computer, connected the Tevion to the computer and then I ran into a problem - the cable that connects to the Tevion has an S-video connection on the end which I'm assuming connects it to the TBC. However, it doesn't fit. I have tried and tried but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Then, once I get this part worked out, how do I begin the capturing? What do I need to run on the computer as I push play on the VCR in order to transfer the footage over? Thank you for your help in advance. I have searched on here for answers to these questions but can't find them or have missed them.

You're making it too complicated. Process of elimination is needed.

Step 1: Plug the VCR in to the TV. Do you see the menu?
- If yes, we can continue.
- If no, then you need to make sure the VCR connection is correct, wires are good, etc.

I will try that but the connection question I had was between the tbc and the Tevion.
