Is there a Y/C to S-Video adapter?
 

I have an Ensemble Designs BE 11. In the manual it says I can output Y/C BNC and use an adapter to S-Video (to go to VCR or monitor).

All the adapters I'm finding are listed as S-Video to BNC, none the other way around.

Are these adapters bidirectional by default or is a special adapter needed? If special, where does one acquire such a thing?

Never heard of a unidirectional BNC or S-Video cable, The same cable works both ways. It doesn't work like SCART.

Those cables are bidirectional.
But beware that many of these are crappy thin noisy cables. Extron is what I'd get, though pricey.
