JVC VHS Player or a COMBO VHS-DVD unit?
I have a handful of VHS tapes that need to be transferred. No more than 20 of them total.
I happen to own one of those VHS to DVD combo units (Gift to dad that he gifted back). I also have a Mondo Transfer rig for my Hi8 tapes (Sony Hi8 to TBC1000 to 510-USB to Win7 machine) Here is my question. With me owning the Combo machine.....is there any real reason i should scour the earth for an old JVC VCR (that hopefully works). JVC because that seems to be the brand everyone suggests. Will the combo unit do just as good a job on old family VHS tapes? I know for a fact the Combo unit works...and its 100% paid for too! Thoughts? |
If you are okay with DVD quality there is nothing wrong with that, A lot of people especially older generations are still using DVD's for video.
