SMR hard drives OK for capture?
 

So with all the controversy over SMR drives, I've not seen any discussion here on their use as capture drives. I see the Seagate Barracuda 2TB drives recommended as capture drives. These are (now) SMR drives I don't know for how long they have been. Are these OK for capture or should we be recommending 2TB Seagate Iron Wolf drive or something else?
