Canopus MVR-D2000 capture card?
 

I have a couple of Canopus MVR-D2000 PCI MPEG2 Encoder / Decoder cards. I had never heard of them nor have I heard of them from anywhere else, so I figured that I'd take some pictures and post them here.

I don't really plan to use these in any capacity, but I would possibly try for fun if I had the cables for them. I actually happen to have one that fits, but only with a composite input.

The daughter card PCB just plugs into the mother card.

Would anyone happen to know anything about this?

I'm guessing these hail from the early viable days (2000-2002), post-DV P4 initial timeframe, overlap with P4 and some Matrox RT.

I probably knew about these 20 years ago, and in fact probably do have info in a file. But too long ago, don't remember it. I wonder if this was before or after the DVstorm.
