Hi, recently I got an Hauppauge WinTV HVR 950 (an ATI clone) but the AV in was loose and I had to ask for a refund.

I heard the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid (North America) also uses the same chipset. But I noticed not all of them look the same outside, some even have an HDTV tuner.

One looks identical to the Hauppauge, while some have a different design. Are they still the same device inside?
