Pinnacle Capture driver not installed when plugged in?
Hello, I bought a Pinnacle USB from lordsmurf back in February, I haven't got around to use it until now but when I plug in, I find in device manager that it says "Pinnacle Capture driver not installed". I tried installing a drive I thought was Pinnacle but that didn't work. How do I get this capturer to work? Do I need to install a specific drive?

Okay I managed to install the drive and it shows up on VirtualDub now. I also manage to make the Crossbar show the device and set it to S-Video and then set it Preview instead of Overlay. I'm not sure where the set to s-video is but currently nothing is being shown on the capture.
Edit: It also bluescreen'ed my computer when I opened the Crossbar Thing mid-way unplugging the capture device. I'm on Windows 11 so I'm guessing it not compatible? |
Windows 11… not surprising you’re running into difficulties.
Are you able to use your capture device with a computer running an older version of Windows? |
