Panasonic DMR-T3040 Pass-Thru?

In addition to (2) Panasonic DMR-ES35V units and (1) Panasonic DMR-E30 unit, I managed to pickup (1) Panasonic DMR-T3040 unit from a local auction. I also snagged a JVC SR-V10U that is working well so far(!)

I haven't been able to find anything on Panasonic DMR-T3040 on the digitalfaq forums or another popular forum. I was able to find...

product specs: http://www.mediacontrolsystems.com/id40.html
manual: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/69...Dmr-T3040.html

Any thoughts on this unit potentially being a useful pass-thru device? Pages 52 and 62 of the manual linked above appear to be the only details on what could be accomplished with this unit. The product specs page lists "Input TBC and 3D Y/C separation" as a feature.

Did you try testing it?

Looks like it's just a "professional" version of the E30. People on here and vh have shown the older Panasonics to have some stabilizing/TBC functionality but not as robust as the 2005 and 2006 models like the ES10, ES15 and the ES35 you got.

The ES35's ought to work well for it though, should be basically the same as the ES15 just with the addition of a VCR.
