Tape damage, Video8 transfer from Sony camcorder?

Tape damage? Video 8 transferred from a Sony camcorder, AVC 8710 into a Aja LHI. This problem displays on the screen as well is this physical tape damage? The tape was fast forwarded, then rewound before capture. It seems like there are some very small vertical lines in the tape at these points.

Looks like one of the video heads became clogged/dirty either during playback or recording.

Sounds about right the person that brought me this tape said they were dealing with clogged heads often.

Seems like the camcorder also bounces vertically at times too.
