Weird flicker with ATI 600 USB in Win10?

Hi All!
Looking for some help here, would be apprecaited! I have used this setup before with no issues, but this is on a different computer. I have ruled out:
I am a bit baffled. Going to try a different video card tonight as I am running on the on-board card. Dont think that will help, may also try a PCI USB card. Could this be a software configuration? Running Win10. Any feedback or ideas apprecaited! |
This card no longer work with Win10. Something in a Win10 update in 2020 now makes the card fail to have a stable input signal. It was fine on Win10 in earlier versions. Same for Win8 and Win11.
Win7 max required. Win10 is a bad OS for capture anyway, it "does stuff" in the background, induces drooped frames. Win10 was an OS for tablets and Facebook, not serious work like video. |
Interesting, but not surprising, thank you for the feedback! I'll try a few things and see if I can iron it out. If I can't, you think windows 7 is my best bet? Not 8?
Thank you again! |

What did you use for your driver? The vidbox3 driver worked for me in Windows 10 with a Tevion ATI 600 Clone (haven't tried it on anything newer, though could possibly work) - Though it seems to default to throwing away one of the fields and I didn't see a setting in the driver for weave interlacing. If that can be figured out, you could be golden and I'd love to hear how that'd be done. Driver is attached, probably worth a try at least before switching OS's.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I had an urgent project, so I jsut reverted to win7 and it's working flawlessly. I needed a win7 instance up anyway for another project. I appreciate you uploading the driver, I will it on hand incase I need to use a Win10 box. Thanks again!
