Audio Pitch Issue/Noise with VirtualDub2

I've been having consistent issues with VHS capture. I'm doing everything through VirtualDub2 and I'm using a Dazzle DVC 107, but in almost every capture there are consistent audio pitch issues, where the audio is pitched down and there is a consistent audible clicking noise. None of these issues occur when the VCR (a Mitsubishi HS-U61 S-VHS deck) is directly connected to my TV. I've tried capturing with my laptop and my PC, which should be more than powerful enough with an i7-8700k, 3060ti, 32GB ram, and a Samsung 980 SSD, but the issues are still present. I've also tried other VCRs and the problem persists.

I've tried reading other threads from people with audio issues but none seem to be like mine. I'm absolutely at my wits end here and can't figure it out for the life of me. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Does anyone have anything I can try? Here is an example of these issues: https://youtu.be/VJKnWUYVk0U?si=Ir-VbKMD_6farGY4

Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
