Best PAL VCR: Panasonic vs. JVC?
In these days I'm testing my gear, and I've noticed my LG w904p VCR is so bad.
I only have VHS-C tapes in PAL format. I compared the same tape played by the LG and the JVC camera, that even in composite outperform the VCR in color rendering. So now I have some questions for you. 1) Someone in the Guide to buy VCRs said that playing a tape with a camera is better than playing a tape with a VCR (I understood so). Should I buy a camera? Which one? 2) In the same VCR guide LordSmurf said that one of best VCR is the JVC HR-S7600. Should I go for this or are there even better or equivalent VCR? What about Panasonic NV-FS1000? My biggest concern is about video quality, but of course I'd like to have even good audio quality. Thank you all. |
Playing a VHS tape in a camera is vastly worse, even a bad idea, compared to a quality recommended S-VHS VCR. Where did you read that?
You mean NV-HS1000, correct? |
Yes, I didn't notice this typo. Which SVHS do you suggest me? Yes, it's strange, but I like the colors of my JVC more
