ATI All In Wonder Rage Pro PCI for capture?

I have this card from the old days and would like to capture VHS with it.

I lost the special A/V cable, but it looks like the 4 pins of an s-video cable are the same according to https://pinoutguide.com/Audio-Video-...t_pinout.shtml, so I just chopped off the plastic block in an s-video cable and shoved it in the video-in of the card.

Linux support is bad, there is some old unfinished software "GATOS", that only produces real image from the tuner, "SVHS" like they call it is always blue screen.

Then I installed winXP. The guide on this forum is for "ATI All In Wonder 128 Pro", not for my card.
Nevertheless I tried the MMC(several versions 8.7,9.x), installation runs and then suddenly the window disappears/crashes, so not complete. Can't find any shortcut or binary to run the app after that.

So I installed the WINNT drivers & ATIPLAY from an old ati-524-cd on archive.org.
Now I can view the inputs and take snapshot but not capture video as this is not a feature of the ATI Player.

Any suggestion for capture software for this card?

That card does not use Theatre chips, and should not be used.

It's just old worthless e-waste at this point. You will not get it to work with anything, and even Windows XP will usually reject it (as it was designed for Win95/98). Capture cards were universally crap at the time when that card existed in the late 90s.

Another name for the card is: "ATI All-in-Wonder Pro 3D Rage Pro PCI 8MB"
Pic in attachment.

Oh OK, I thought *any* ATI AIW was the "holy grail" for capturing lossless...
