NTSC VHS from multi-system VCR to computer?
 

Can the output of an NTSC VHS in a multi-system VCR display on a computer? I am curious about affordable methods of digitizing VHS tapes to the computer.

You need a capture card (or dvd recorder, euro model) that accept Pal 60, many don't

Kinda depends what you have in mind for "affordable" but as long as the capture card you are using supports NTSC and PAL should be able to handle anything you throw at it. I think if you play an NTSC tape in a multiformat player it'll output the format that the tape is.

No, a card supporting PAL and NTSC does not mean it will support PAL60 or NTSC 4.43, Not all multi format VCR's output native NTSC.
