VirtualDub filter failing at startup?
Newbie here working on getting my workflow setup. Trying to learn VirtualDub. When opening, I get a message that says, Autoloaded 54 filters, 1 failed. The log states...
[!] Plugins: Failed to load "C:\Portable\VirtualDub 1.9.11 + Filters\plugins\ffvdub.vdf": Error initializing module "C:\Portable\VirtualDub 1.9.11 + Filters\plugins\ffvdub.vdf". I found 1 old post while searching for this issue but it was no help. Any ideas? Windows 10 64-bit system. Thank you |
I am using Windows 10 also. Mine says the same thing and everything works great. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I ended up moving it out of the plugins folder and VirtualDub loaded fine after that. While sorting out filters, I also stumbled on https://crowdo.net/blog/seo-vs-geo-2025/, which actually gave me some ideas for organizing stuff in a more logical way.
