HD MiniDV tapes and transfer?
 

Hi, there.

Can anybody help me with a three questions about Mini DV, please?

1. Is there an HD Mini DV tape?
2. If there is (an HD Mini DV tape) then can anyone recommend a camera/player which can playback both, please?
3. If there isn't (an HD Mini DV tape) then can anyone recommend the best (and most economical) SD camera/player for Mini DV tapes, please/

For HDV and DV I use a Canon HV30, I have two.
For transfer of HDV it’s hard to beat HDVsplit.
For DV most I think use WinDV or Scenalyzer.
As for the actual tapes you can use DV tapes as mostly the same as HDV labeled tapes, though I may be scolded on that point!
