Denoise filter in Hybrid?

While Neat Video works nicely for cleaning up my 8mm film, it is soooooo slow! I know that Hybrid has several Denoise options, and I'd like to experiment with trying them out. Just curious if anyone can give me a starting point. What options/settings work best?, what kind of results can I expect?, does it slow down the process?, those types of things.

I'd sure appreciate any insights before I dig in on my own. Thanks.

Almost all of them are jus Avisynth or Vapoursynth filters, so that's how you'd find documentation and samples. The type of NR really depends on the errors being addressed.

My main system is off right now, storms, otherwise I'd give some more tips. Maybe tomorrow.

Thanks Lordsmurf.

I just noticed that this version of Hybrid (2024.09.29.1) doesn't include an Avisynth tab under Filtering. I just downloaded it because I'm setting up a new computer. Is there a version that includes Avisynth? For now, I'll start experimenting with Vapoursynth filters.
