Current error 0 ms, VirtualDub audio meter?
1 Attachment(s)
Just out of curiosity does anyone else get a current error of 0 ms? I haven’t seen mine not be 0 on current error. When I see someone else’s sample it always says -1 ms or something. https://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/vid...b-capture.html

What card?
When you run internalized for USB sticks/boxes, it shows 0, unless the local system has stability issues. In a sense, you're just trusting the ms is maintained in-card. When you have a known-quality card, not a problem. When you have a POS card, likes Ezcaps/Dazzles/etc, then your trust is misplaced. The Canopus ADVC boxes go further yet, and don't show dropped frames either. So you're fully blind, and blindly trusting the magic box. This wrong reading of meters is what leads to the BS "doesn't lose sync" or "doesn't drop frames" (and the related fallacy "so it must have TBC"). All nonsense. Canopus is not quality, ultra-compressing the video to appease 1990s Pentium II/III systems, and will sacrifice data to appease these anachronistic needs. If I close my eyes, you can't see me? |
Okay point taken. Don't put too much trust in meters. I was thinking maybe it was a windows 10 thing but ow well. It's a non issue anyways. Thank you.
