Weird ghosting(?) / black and white strip on VHS output
 

Greetings, I've recently acquired a Panasonic NV-F55EU.
Everything else seems to work fine, aside of the weird, ghosty-like effects on the picture, including a weird white and black stripe on the right area of the picture. :(
When playing a blank tape, the issue does not occur.
The issue does not occur either if connecting something via RCA IN.
This is the only player where this happens. I've tested many tapes on the other two Philips recorders and they seemed fine.
Also tested the Panasonic recorder in other two TVs (I don't own CRTs, though), issue persists.
Tried different SCART, RF or Composite cables as well.
