Leitch DPS-575 H2.16 firmware?
 

Hi!
I am looking for the H2.16 firmware for the Leitch dps-575. Does anyone have a copy of the zip? :)
I can find the G-version, but what I have understood they are not interchangeable.

Alternatively, is it possible to fetch the firmware from a 575 that already has the H2.16 installed?

As far as I know, to dump the firmware, the chip has to be de-soldered and put on a chip reader to be able to dup its contents.

I was in luck and talked to someone that had the firmware. I attached it to this message. Note that I haven`t yet tested it, but will do it soon :)

If it has EPROM you can experiment with clear chip. If upgrade does not work simply push back original. But otherwise I would not advise to upgrade firmware. It is a gamble - if update is not successful you have dead unit.
