Line noise, AVR, EMI/RFI Filters, Ground Loop Isolators. Confused
I was wondering if there are any ways to test whether the electrical system in your house suffers from "dirty power". I have heard of line conditioners, EMF/RFI filters, AVR, and group loop isolators. Can someone clarify what these are and which ones are ideal for capturing needs?
I know what AVR is. I have a UPS on order now ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BMBT4I ) with AVR, but I am curious as to how these compare to Ground loop isolators, line conditioners, and UPS's with EMI/RFI filters. Thanks! |
I'm sure there is, but I don't know what it is. The reason is simple: The UPS with AVR has always fixed my problems.
I do know you can pull breakers and check voltage to the line. I had somebody come over two years ago and replace a break for me, as it was causing the office to power to fluctuate. It would also trip easily. |
