Is this a good TBC for capturing videotapes?

Hi, I've found some adds on ebay and I was wondering it this device, the Leitch DPS-235, was good as a TBC like the Datavideo YBC-1000 ?

Thanks to answer

i would avoid any of the old big tank broadcast TBC's

the TBC-1000 and AVT-8710 are generally recommended

the For.A FA-125 is very good and ive had good luck with my Keywest BVTBC10

This has been discussed here before. Check out these threads:

There are some more; search the forum for those. :)

It's kind of an old TBC, and the TBC-100/TBC-1000 and AVT-8710/CTB-100 are better choices for tape-to-digital work.

I have yet to test the DPS-235's abilities as a line-correcting TBC. Other projects and the day job are taking my time at the moment. Superstorm Sandy and the following 2+ week power outages put a lot of those projects on hold and I haven't returned to them.
