Mediacoder is probably opening the file using either ffmpeg or MEncoder. You might try playing the TS with MPlayer, but I believe it's mainly a command-line app as well.
http://www.mediacoderhq.com/pkglist.htm I would have expected VLC to play the files. |
Where's a small file that we can try to open? Attach one.

MPC-HC opens them on my system without even renaming the files. It even plays them with hardware acceleration. :)
Attachment 3686 VideoReDo also opens them. Still surprised that VLC doesn't work. |
awesome i will download MPC-HC tonight
i was unable to open them with VideoReDo TV Suite V4 - which version do it need? |
I'm way back at 4.20.5.600.

thank you! -the MPC player works perfect
i would still like to edit a bit so now trying to find an older version of videoredo - as the newer one wont work |
Verify it's not a codec issue. Because it sort of sounds like it might be.

Here is the installer I have backed up for the version I'm on. It will install as a trial if you don't have a license, so I assume it's legal to redistribute this. Admin can remove it with my apologies if not.
But I'm also guessing it's an issue somewhere else and not with the installed new version itself. Perhaps one of the config options on the wizard that you select when it first installs. I pick "no" for most of the options since all of those formats don't apply for my usage. |
thank you again!!!
that version of Videoredo works |
