Different video size, despite same resolution?
 

Hello,

I am now capturing huffyuv VHS video through VirtualDub on an ATI card versus using a Sony Handycam passthrough to DV. I have noticed that the video appears smaller despite having the same number of pixels (480 height).

See the attached image for an example. Both videos are scaled to 100%. Why is this? Is there something that I need to change when capturing in VirtualDub?

VLC is resizing the .dv file according to the aspect ratio.
