What's OBS?
My Pinacle 510-USB audio level can't be changed either, so in that respect the VC500 isn't unique. The control is there for both in Windows Mixer, but changing the level does nothing and the Apply button is not active. I picked up the VC500 because the video on my 510 has been acting up since I dropped it last week. :smack: Well, if worse comes to worst I can always capture twice and use the video from the VC500 and audio from the 510 since it's loud but distortion free. Unless someone has advice on finding a good revision of the VC500 or other USB capture that can control the audio level? Erich |
OBS = https://obsproject.com
But it's not really a capture software, more of a streaming software. The 510/710 are what I referred to as boxes where you cannot adjust, but really do not need to, as the values are about 50% already. Again, ATI 600 USB can be controlled via registry hack. |
A passive pre-amp would solve this problem. Something like this: https://www.monacor.com/products/pa-...ls/ila-100rca/
Insert between the VCR's audio output and the capture device's audio input. |
