Is ATI AIW card suitable?
After struggling with trying to capture with my Windows 10 computer I have dusted off an old XP workstation with the hope of using it for VHS-C capture and Mini DV transfer. I have it working for the DV transfers and now want to get it working for the VHS captures. I have an ATI All-In-Wonder card from an older computer build. It has a part number of 109-50200-01. Searching online I think I have identified it as an "ATI All in Wonder 3d Rage Pro AGP 2x TV Tuner VGA SXGA 8mb Video Card". Will this work for capture? I think it predates the ones listed in the ATI AIW guide. Thanks for the help and all knowledge I have acquired from DigitalFAQ.

Did you find out if it's a good card? recommended by lordsmuf?
I found in Spain one that I could purchase. I won't do it until I get confirmation that it's a good one. Thanks |
I don't think it is a good card I'm afraid:
http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/vide...html#post76705 In this post lordsmurf says rage 128 pro cards with fewer than 32 megs are unusable for capture. |
Thanks for the reply
