Motion graphic video programs?
 

Hello, I am looking to update some introductions I have which were created in NTSC resolution (one almost 30 years ago). They were based off feedback loops. I am looking to make the same videos in HD (or pay someone to do it). Does anyone know of any programs that would do this? I have attached some videos. If you don't want to download anything here are some videos with the introductions:

It reminds me of the 1960s Doctor Who intros. I've seen things like that documented online. All it really entails is the ability to use an editor and do some basic effects in an effect package. Adobe After Effects, for example. Not that I can do it either -- not my thing. But I know how, and I've seen it.

I'd look around some at the Doctor Who restoration site. I'll do the same, as I have some bookmarked. (Yes, I like The Doctor!)

I bet Doctor Who was the inspiration of that Video Wave editor. :hmm:

Thanks for the response. It does bear a resemblance, but the feedback intro was done by some art students, who may or may not been Dr. Who-inspired!

Its a common effort since its easy to create. Just run feedback through a video mixer with a "solarize" function. I used to do it on a Video Toaster using its "ChromaFX' function. I wonder if the current HD systems still have it?

Hi NjRoadfan, is "solarize" where whites becomes black and vice-versa?

Its a similar effect to that. Straight swapping of black to white is usually a negative filter. The important part is that the ChromaFX filters supported color cycling which added a bit of pop to the effect.
