Faint horizontal lines in VHS capture?

Hello!

I'm currently in the process of transferring some of my VHS home videos (NTSC) and I'm noticing some faint lines in the video. They're most noticeable in lighter areas of the video.

Can these lines be fixed by filtering in Avisynth? And if so, how?
