Video has gray lines, missing horizontals?
 

i am trying to convert my hi8 or digital8 (i don't know what format are they) tapes but i guess one of the tape is corrupted. i couldnt find information anywhere actualy i dont know how to describe it. i ll try to attach the video . have you ever see that before. is there a way to fix that. thank you

camera: sony dcr-trv340e
tape: sony album mp120

What does the camera viewfinder show?

other tapes are fine. i didn't check viewfinder but lcd on the camera shows same video(with gray lines)

now i tried again and it working. sorry to bother you and thanks again for your answers

Signs of dirty heads or moisture, In most cases running a tape in room temperature will clear (which you did).
