JVC HR S7600EU vs Panasonic NV HS950EG? What would you choose for better results?
Which one is better for capturing video from common VHS (PAL)?
|
I mean which one of these VCR's offers better playback?
|
The Panasonic.

Thank you for your reply. That's what I thought . So here's another question:
Would you trust better an online vcr shop (JVC case) which offers a 12 month warranty (accepts returns) or a private seller (panasonic case) who presents a tested ,flawless, used couple of times device (no returns accepted)? Actually my question is: Is there a great difference between these two VCR's? Would you sacrifice a bit of quality in order to get a professionally tested device? |
I wouldn't trust the private seller. Look for another seller or a shop that services the Panasonic.
The 7900 is OK but you'll have motion smear from its DNR and poor playback from tapes made at slow recording speeds. It tracks retail tapes or tapes made with a similar machine better than it can track just any tape made anywhere, although there's no such thing as a VCR that can track any and all tapes well. Many users refuse to rely on a single VCR model anyway, but usually have more than one player. |
I see. Thank you vey much.
