Drives for storing digitized VHS footage?
What kind of drive should I save my digitized VHS footage on? I have seen info on here for workflows concerning VCRs, TBCs, capture cards, and computers, but I need some info about the best way to store the file once it is produced.

Ideally you have them stored on different drives and places, creating multiple backups.
I myself use mainly Samsung External SSDs to keep all the raw files on there. Do have a 5TB Seagate External HDD as a backup drive. The Samsung SSDs are the main drives I write files to and grab files off of |

2 HDD, the same size, from different manufacturers (for example Seagate and WD) through RAID1 in separate 2 tray USB box. It is nearly impossible both HDD will fail at the same moment. I use 14TB Seagate + Toshiba right now. And when particular it is full, you buy another RAID enclosure with 2 HDD and so on. But do not use USB RAID for capture, only as storage.
