Syncword error!
I was converting the AC3 audio for one movie and it said:
"Bad Syncword at frame 114254! The AC3 stream is probably corrupt." I thought it was a one time error, so I tried to convert another AC3 file into an MP2 file. The same error occured. What's going on? How can I fix it? |
@Bigswaffo,
Try using "MPEG Mediator" and extract the .wav file from the VOB's. Then convert the .wav using Headac3he to .mp2. :) Check downloads from KVCD for this utility. -bp |
or try AC3Fix, have a look at the software section at doom9.org. :wink:

@black prince
This encode happens to be from a DivX. :( @PyRoMaNiA How do you use AC3Fix? I tried it under DOS (after looking at the ReadMe) and it said that the command wasn't recognized. It wouldn't work. |
BeSliced by DSPGuru may also help you. Run the program, drag the AC3 file in the program window and it will create a fixed AC3 file for you.

Thanks Boulder. I'm fixing it now. I'll see if the AC3 works later. :D
