I was converting the AC3 audio for one movie and it said:
"Bad Syncword at frame 114254! The AC3 stream is probably corrupt."

I thought it was a one time error, so I tried to convert another AC3 file into an MP2 file. The same error occured. What's going on? How can I fix it?

@Bigswaffo,

Try using "MPEG Mediator" and extract the .wav file from the VOB's.
Then convert the .wav using Headac3he to .mp2. Check downloads
from KVCD for this utility.

@black prince
This encode happens to be from a DivX.

@PyRoMaNiA
How do you use AC3Fix? I tried it under DOS (after looking at the ReadMe) and it said that the command wasn't recognized. It wouldn't work.

BeSliced by DSPGuru may also help you. Run the program, drag the AC3 file in the program window and it will create a fixed AC3 file for you.

Thanks Boulder. I'm fixing it now. I'll see if the AC3 works later.
