KVCD: Audio Sync problems?
Sorry to bother,
I downloaded a 800MB KVCD mpg file which plays perfectly well on my PC (Sony and Ricoh DVD-+RW). However, when I try to make a VCD, SVCD or even a DVD -R or +R with any program like (VCDEasy, TMPGENc, Canopus, CCE, MovieJack etc.) I find several seconds delay between Video and Audio when I play it on my stand alone Pioneer DVD525. Where did I miss something? Thanks in advance for any help or information. Katcha |
Pioneer 525 claims for a MPEG2 KVCD. Is it the case of the one you have ?
|
Yes indeed.
|
And does the delay increase along the time or is it always the same ?
|
The delay of the sound to the video seems to be the same although video quality deteriorates as the movie goes on.
|
Thats really strange.
Try to demux the audio and video streams and remux them with bbmpeg, it would enhance the result. |
It happened to me the same and I destroyed several cd´s but at the end I noticed I was burnig it whith nero like pal and was ntsc! On the pc played well , but on DVD...
I don´t know if its your case , but think of it :D |
Thanks, but I already changed to Adaptec ASPI i.o. Nero ASPI which doesn't seem to work very well with VCDEasy so I learned in this forum, and I also tried burning NTSC (the original KVCD) as well as PAL because Pioneer DVD525 reads both, but to no avail.
