Sorry to bother,

I downloaded a 800MB KVCD mpg file which plays perfectly well on my PC (Sony and Ricoh DVD-+RW).
However, when I try to make a VCD, SVCD or even a DVD -R or +R with any program like (VCDEasy, TMPGENc, Canopus, CCE, MovieJack etc.) I find several seconds delay between Video and Audio when I play it on my stand alone Pioneer DVD525.

Where did I miss something?
Thanks in advance for any help or information.

Katcha

Pioneer 525 claims for a MPEG2 KVCD. Is it the case of the one you have ?

And does the delay increase along the time or is it always the same ?

The delay of the sound to the video seems to be the same although video quality deteriorates as the movie goes on.

Thats really strange.
Try to demux the audio and video streams and remux them with bbmpeg, it would enhance the result.

Thanks, but I already changed to Adaptec ASPI i.o. Nero ASPI which doesn't seem to work very well with VCDEasy so I learned in this forum, and I also tried burning NTSC (the original KVCD) as well as PAL because Pioneer DVD525 reads both, but to no avail.
