Assign different filters to specific frame ranges in VirtualDub?
With one of my videos pertaining to lighting/environment, the beginning is dark, the middle is bright and the end is dark.
Is there a way to assign different brightness/contrast filters (or any other filters for that matter) to specific frame ranges? Ie. Frames 0-22000 (needs a brighter filter), 22001-68000(needs a darker filter), 68001-94000(needs a brighter filter) |
Yes, but I always forget the syntax.
When I have to get very granular with color correction, I opt for Premiere instead. |
ApplyRange http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Animate
ConditionalFilter http://avisynth.nl/index.php/ConditionalFilter Trim(x,y).<filtering>++Trim(z,t).<filtering>++... http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Trim |
lollo2: The question was about VirtualDub's own filter system, I believe, not Avisynth.
I agree with LS that trying to do this in VDub would be clunky at best. |
I apologize for the inappropriate answer, I haven't uderstood it was VirtualDub

Thank you all for the information!
Are there certain edits and or filters (mask/crop, etc.) that I should utilize in VirtualDub before doing farther edits in other video editing software? |
