With one of my videos pertaining to lighting/environment, the beginning is dark, the middle is bright and the end is dark.

Is there a way to assign different brightness/contrast filters (or any other filters for that matter) to specific frame ranges? Ie. Frames 0-22000 (needs a brighter filter), 22001-68000(needs a darker filter), 68001-94000(needs a brighter filter)

Yes, but I always forget the syntax.
When I have to get very granular with color correction, I opt for Premiere instead.

lollo2: The question was about VirtualDub's own filter system, I believe, not Avisynth.

I agree with LS that trying to do this in VDub would be clunky at best.

Thank you all for the information!

Are there certain edits and or filters (mask/crop, etc.) that I should utilize in VirtualDub before doing farther edits in other video editing software?
