HeadAC3he: how to fix a corrupt MP2?
Does anyone know how to fix a corrupt MP2?
One thing you could try is load the mp2 file into GoldWave and save as wav, then reencode
Tried it, HeadAC3he just closed at the same point. :(
You can try running it trough wbias.
Never mind, I ended up saving it as an MP3 with Goldwave and then converting it back to an MP2 with HeadAC3he. I probably lost a bit of quality doing this but it still sounds pretty good to me. I couldn't use wbias as I don't know the exact point where the error is, and it sounded fine, but HeadAC3he kept closing at about a third of the way through so I assumed it was corrupted. Thanks for your replies. :)

You don't need to know where the error is with wbias... just copy the whole file (no split) and it will (try to) correct the errors.
Oh ok then. I just looked at the description and assumed you meant use it to cut out the error...In that case, thanks, I will try that next time. :D
