One thing you could try is load the mp2 file into GoldWave and save as wav, then reencode

Tried it, HeadAC3he just closed at the same point.

You can try running it trough wbias.

Never mind, I ended up saving it as an MP3 with Goldwave and then converting it back to an MP2 with HeadAC3he. I probably lost a bit of quality doing this but it still sounds pretty good to me. I couldn't use wbias as I don't know the exact point where the error is, and it sounded fine, but HeadAC3he kept closing at about a third of the way through so I assumed it was corrupted. Thanks for your replies.

You don't need to know where the error is with wbias... just copy the whole file (no split) and it will (try to) correct the errors.

Oh ok then. I just looked at the description and assumed you meant use it to cut out the error...In that case, thanks, I will try that next time.
