HeadAC3he: Does HeadAc3he auto-fix ac3 delays on conversion?

I have an ac3 with -200ms delay. I've converted it to mp2/192/41100 Stereo (surround2)

Does it still have the delay, and will it need to be corrected on remuxing with the yet to be encoded vcd mpg (and what tool will mux and fix delay, I can't see any delay correction in TmpEnc's muxer section)?

Or is it corrected by HAc3 on conversion (please!!!!)

Thanks.

Headac3he or besweet both programs can deal with delay very well. You must to set it in options. If your audio file name finishs with delay -200ms, Headac3he will take it automatically.

If you are muxing with bbmpeg, you can also manage your delay.

Setting different video/audio startup delay (different by 200ms in your case).
Take care with +/- sign in your audio delay, and set it correctly in these programs.

Oh man, I bow down to your greatness!!!

You took a worry off my mind - HAc3 would've removed the -288 (umm not -200 lol) when it recoded to mp2. Wooo Weeee!!!

(yup, file name was Movie AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY -288ms.ac3
new file is Movie AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY -288ms.mp2 (but inernally it's 192/41100).

THANK YOU, Prodater64
