EDIT: that is why I was "hunting" ISO images creators :!: |
I'm affraid that Phil means something like "I have an ISO made with software A and want to burn it with ImgBurn but it seems that the software doesn't have that capability".
I don't think he means "I want to copy the files from my DVD to my HD and make an ISO image on the fly". And that's why I answered that I do burn ISOs with ImgBurn, ISOs that I make with ImgTool. Cheers |
No, he means the ISO read mode available in Decrypter. That'll create an iso image of the disc.
|
But why would he ask that if he knows, because he was the one who advertised it, that ImgBurn is DVDDecrypters' burning engine only  .
I'm quite sure he is plenty aware that ImgBurn can't rip or decrypt otherwise it would still be againt the law and there was Lightning UK! in trouble again. I don't know, but it doesn't seem to make much sense to me... |

I found idiot to have to use DVDDecrypter to read my disc and after use Imgburn to burn it. Reading a disc and making an ISO has nothing to do with the "decrypting" part of DVDDecrypter. It was usable for any DVD or even CD. And actually the DVD I wanted to copy was not protected. |

This post from Phil http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=121528#121528 lead me to think that he knew that ImgBurn would *only* burn (when compared with DVDDecrypter). So, my apologies to all other users in this thread . Because in fact I'm quite stuburn when I believe I'm right . And yet, once again I was wrong. Cheers |
