small explanation needed about filters
Well I encoded 4 movies so far from Divx to KVCD couse I don`t have DVD rom. I used some filters "legal", "blockbuster", "fluxsmooth" but I want to know wich kind of filters is needed to each kind of movie. Ie I know SpaceDust and Blockbuster makes almost the same thing but I guess theres some diference between them. Same as Wich movies requieres qich filters, in general. I mean movies with a lot of action, or very quiet movies or maybe some movies with a lot of camera action (like filmed from helicopters or in movement).
Thanx in advance. PS: I`m very happy with the results of my encoding the only thing I don`t like to much is how much time takes me to get the correct QC to encode (about 12 minutes per sample) and the fact I need to make like 4 samples to get the righ CQ. |

actually, spacedust and temporal cleaner are faster than using fluxsmooth and temporal smoother (on a pentium 3 and 4 don't know about AMD)... Plus you get a smaller filesize :D
