Avisynth: Frame server source in AVS?

I know that this sounds pretty stupid :lol: but is there a way to set frame server file input for AVS (like vdr file). I'm only curious is there a function to do this. Directshowsource doesn't do the trick.

That isn't that stupid at all! :wink:

You can just open a vdr (I think it will be served by that VFAPI codec?!) by:

Avisource("xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.vdr")

Well some time ago when I used that way on aspecific job it worked for me, but watch out for correct colorspace settings in ffdshow or codec settings in general, as vdr does frameserve rgb32!
