Avisynth: LegalClip() usage?

I keep seeing LegalClip() in scripts, sometimes twice.

I can't find a plugin for it, nor does it appear in the manual on the avisynth page..

What is it, and what does it do? Sorry if this is a basic thingy, I'vd just not seen it referenced anywhere.. (and a search here gets waaaay to many hits.. it appears in nearly every script)

Damn - I kept searching after posting and answered my own questions.

It's not needed.... LOL

So there is absolutly no need to do that in the script and this is just lack of time."

Search again :lol:
It's still recommended for PRE processing ;)

Interesting.

Makes sense that a filter might generate out of bounds video..

Thanks guys....
