I keep seeing LegalClip() in scripts, sometimes twice.

I can't find a plugin for it, nor does it appear in the manual on the avisynth page..

What is it, and what does it do? Sorry if this is a basic thingy, I'vd just not seen it referenced anywhere.. (and a search here gets waaaay to many hits.. it appears in nearly every script)

Damn - I kept searching after posting and answered my own questions.

It's not needed.... LOL

"Now : all new TV set support full luma range since, let say, 5 years ? AND all the encoders that we use (tmpgenc, MCE, CCE) clip the luma to 16-250 themselves by default !
So there is absolutly no need to do that in the script and this is just lack of time."

Search again
It's still recommended for PRE processing

direct Kwag's recomendations after i ask that in pm:

will ever generate out-of-bounds video

Thanks guys....
