anyone know a good program to mux the audio from a .VOB file. i used DVD2avi but it was out of synth, the audio was infront of the movie.

ifoedit!
 |
aight and how do i get a AC3 out of 2 MPEG's ? lol
|
But putting them side-by-side and find a third one to do the last 2 channels.
(note : dvd2avi indicates a delay in the name of the files he generates. if you do not apply this delay when converting, all will be out of synch !) |
alright lol forget about my old posts i didn't know what i was talking about, i use DVD2avi to get the Audio stream from a big VOB. the only problem is that when played the final MPEG the audio was out of synth towards the end. i was wondering if anyoen knew a program to get the audio stream when i don't have a VOb_IFO
thanks |
vob_ifo? :?
but dvd2avi get the audio stream using only the vobs, you will get the xx audio delay after you save the project. see the "note" in the last Phil's post for details. |
ah yes true, but the number was 0 if i remember correclty lol, yes i did feed .VOB into dvd2avi go the audio and converted it to AC3 and then from AC3 converted it to MP2 :D

ok but now we need more details:
first: dvd2avi don't convert the audio to ac3 but extract the ac3 if the vob have ac3 track audio! second: now we are working with what "if you remember correctly" and this could be a problems cos you're not certain but have some doubt about this. then we can use the reference 0(zero)delay but with reserves! third:what program did you use to convert from ac3 to mp2? fourth:what parameters did you adjust in the encoder?(bitrate,44k or 48k,etc) fifth: after you get the mp2, what program was used to mux the audio and video and the adjusts used to do this. sixth: the loose of the sincro between audio/video happen in the pc(in what player?) or in your standalone dvd player(on tv)? seventh:don't know if i forgot to ask something !?!? :? see my friend oxycotton420, i need all details to search for the solution! sometimes the solution is simple but all details are importants. |

and i tried it on WMP and my computer's DVD player which is POWER DVD thanks i nadvance btw sorry for not being detailed will try to be as detailed as possible next time |
i was answering you when the connection down!
seems strange ac3--->Input Channels Mode: 2/0, Bitrate: 112kbps but it's not important now. you forgot to post if you're doing mpeg1 or mpeg2 and if is kvcd, skvcd or kvcd! ....and how you adjusted in mpegtools(tmpgenc). try bbmpeg to mux the audio/video, take a look in that picture: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2224 for muxing kvcd it's ok but if you're doing skvcd(352x480 or 480x480) change to "svcd" in the "program stream settings" and adjust again to 0(zero) in "forced mux rate" . post the result! |
