Guys,
I was wondering: how do we use BIAS?
Not where do I press to button to enable it.
I mean, Hank already gave us Constant Quantizer.
Is this BIAS a Constant Quality like in Tmpgenc?
Cheers

NOTE: Damn :!: I just noticed it only works on 2-pass VBR...
Nevertheless how does it work?

Some words about bias and the compression curve.
HC calculates a minimum bitrate from the max. and average bitrate settings.
The compression curve will scale the bitrate between the min. and max. bitrate.
Using the bias command will pull the bitrate towards the average bitrate, so lower bitrates will get more bits, higher bitrates less bits.
So using bias 100 will tend to CBR.
Just run some test clips with *BIAS 0, *BIAS 50 and *BIAS 100 and load the results in Bitrate Viewer.
