version 1.0 prediction result :!:
:D starting with CQ60,after 9 times searching the prediction, CQMatic give me CQ66,64 to encode. was faster, more or less 8 minutes. encoding now.... :D :D  |
Gentlemen:
I can follow Avalon's audio guide with no problems, but I am not sure of the proper program or steps to follow if I would like to use other audio formats, as MP2. 1.- What program do I need to enter as the external program in TMPGEnc if I want to use MP2? The obvious answer here is head3ac, correct? but then, how do I ensure the proper settings for head3ac? 2.- If I want to do DTS? Is this possible? and why would not I want to do it? Or perhaps I do it externally, and if this is the case, where do I enter this file in TMPGEnc? I have tried reading about this, but it is very difficult to find answers, or I still do not know how to search with "and" or "or". Thanks Totonho. Edit: I just learned that Tmpgenc does not work with head3ac.exe as an external encoder, so I will try another one. |
Hey Kwag which template should I use. I've been away awhile and am seeing all the excitement here. I want to test out CQmatic, but have been spoiled by Tok picking the templates for me.
I ususually do 1 or 2 CD encodes using either 704x480 or 528x480. KVCDx2 or x3 or what? I know I should know this, but I don't :( Thanks! |

Go to Source Range, and click on "Cut Editing" and reset that. Go back and "Uncheck" Source Range" Now save your project again. CQMatic was tested with TMPGEnc 2.520 ( the latest ). What version do you have :?: -kwag |
I'm using tmpeg 2.520..ok trying cqmatic again.
David |
It's working now..Thanks Kwag :!:
David |
That's the Version kwag and I uses too...
BTW: I'm still running 2.513.53.162. (2.613 German) There it works too |
good morning :)
testing now the new version, in the night , last versions of cqmatic weren´t very successful :( were running for hours, and couldn´t find the right cq :( so lets check the new version :) bye :) |

And it took me about 3 hours of work to find and implement the correct algorithm to fix that. I hope it's fixed now 8O At least I was able to reproduce the problem with a movie, in which it stayed in that long predicting loop. After the fix, it predicted in 4 tries :D See how many tries it takes with Version 1.0 BETA 1 ;) -kwag |
hi :)
hope its gonna be better now, will post results later :) bye :) |
I'm still working on Tomb Raider...
My Girlfriend cutted my power to my PC yesterday at 80%   Now I try it with 1.0 beta 1 and TE 2.5.20    Let's see what comes out. BTW: She(my girlfriend) is now gone to work 8) @kwag: CQMatic got my CQ in 2 tries!!!!! It was the same in 92 beta 2, 92 beta 2 a and 1.0 beta 1... DVD2SVCD tried 5 times... |
hehe
mine is going to university now, writing a test or sth :) |
do you use pal tomb raider?
which settings do you got in moviestacker? encoded ritter jamal (black knight in english i think), had settings for a 80min cdr, but the file (muxed) had a size of 733 mb in the end... well :) |
@kwag :
well as i can see in the moment, cqmatic works fine on my 53 min movie, did 1 prediction phase with 60, then jumped to 90 , now encoding :) gonna see which filesize it will have, will tell you later :) bye :) |

That's the way it should work. It needs to encode at least one sample at 90, and then decide if it's the max, or if it can go lower. Let me know, because if it only did one prediction and then it started encoding, I have a glitch on that specific condition :!: -kwag |
