hey black prince,

Headac3he has really nice sound! My "Black Hawk Down" dvd rip sounds GREAT with the surround sound

My svcds were created with DVD2SVCD and I think it used BeSweet to encode the audio- it sounds ok but not as good as Headac3he (maybe it's just stereo).

Some of my svcds I didn't bother to re-encode because I was able to mux them with a non-standard vcd header and they play fine with my Sony DVP-NC600. Have you tried that trick?

Hey Ren,

What did you use to mux as non-standard vcd. Sounds like Tmpgenc.
That a great time saver. I would like to try it. :)

The output file name in that screen shot is wrong! 8O It will overwrite the input file  , but the procedure is the correct one to use :D

Hey ren,

Great tip. Tried two movies encoded originally with D2S and
they came very good.

Thanx :)
